Researchers Find High Protein Diets Can Shorten Lifespans And Increase Risk Of Disease

Hell no Keto!

Researchers have found high protein diets reduce our lifespan and increase our risk of heart disease.

A new study has found people who eat protein too fast may not be able to process it on a molecular level – leading to a build up of protein waste.

This waste could lead to an array of health issues including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease and diabetes.

Weight-loss plans like the Atkins, Dukan, Paleo and Keto diet have popularised high protein eating plans over the past two decades.

Studies say the body needs about 60 grams a day to fulfil the body’s requirements.

Now studies will determine whether protein form plants, dairy or meat make a different to our health.
